This is exactly what I was longing for when I began searching for a family vacation earlier this year. My husband Stan and I wanted to take our two kids with us to some luxurious 5 star resort where we could rest and rejuvenate with some fun together.

Once we had chosen the dates that we could get away, I immediately began looking for vacation specials that will fit inside our budget. After hours of searching it became clear in my experience that my concept of a five star resort vacation would not be possible. There have been simply no holiday specials that suit within our budget, either in a resort or a vacation rental property.

After weeks of combing the internet for vacation specials, I was ready to give up. My visions of white sandy beaches, relaxing at the lake and five start accommodations were quickly slipping through my fingers. Our budget only agreed to be not going to allow for that kind of holiday; I was going to have to make major compromises for the dream family holiday, or quit altogether.

Fortunately for my family, I just happened to mention my struggle to find vacation specials to my good friend, Jessica. Instead of feeling badly for me and offering me condolences, i’m happy to report, Jessica just laughed at me. She couldn’t believe that I was wasting time searching for luxury holidays that my family of four can afford on traditional holiday websites. Once i got within the shock of her laughter, I insisted that they tell me everything that she knew about vacation specials, because I had been obviously missing something.

Once she started to tell me about vacation memberships, it seemed so simple, however i was still hesitant. I could not believe that it had been possible to save 1000s of dollars on a family trip and still remain at a 5 star resort. As Jessica began explaining the process to me, I got more and more excited. I could not believe that a holiday membership was her secret to any or all of the fabulous holiday specials she’d enjoyed over the last few years.
